Hi! I’m Lana Peterson a Professional Development and Community Engagement Coordinator at the LT Media Lab, a research and design lab at the University of Minnesota. In my position I help K-12 teachers maximize the potential of technology within their classroom and research the role technology plays within a variety of educational contexts. I am currently a PhD candidate and my research interests include K-12 technology integration, student tech teams, the nexus of pedagogy, space, and technology, and computer science education.
When not exploring all things tech, I love enjoying all things food: new and old family recipes, local restaurants, and finding the best food while traveling. Food brings people together, encourages us to step outside of our comfort zone, and comforts us when we need it most.
